The Rescuer: The Rock. Always Fine.

The realization—that you are “the rescuer” who never gets rescued—is a heavy burden to carry, especially when those roles were established so long ago.

You taught them that you are the source, the rock, and the one who is always “fine.”

The realization—that you are “the rescuer” who never gets rescued—is a heavy burden to carry, especially when those roles were established so long ago. You taught them that you are the source, the rock, and the one who is always “fine.”

I’m curious—to those of you who carry the world on your shoulders: When was the last time you let someone else hold the weight? When was the last time you weren’t ‘fine’?
