Who Will Miss You The Most

We save our best words for the people who can no longer hear them. We assume someone is fine because they’re strong, independent, or quiet. We watch their lives from a distance and tell ourselves we’ll reach out tomorrow.

But survival is a lonely rhythm when no one is playing along with you.

We’ve replaced connection with observation. We scroll, we watch, we assume — and we forget that even the strongest people need to feel seen.

If you love someone, don’t wait to miss them. Don’t wait for silence to remind you of their value. Grief is the price we pay for love, but it’s better to pay that love forward while the person is still here to feel it.

Pick up the phone. Break the silence. Say the words now.
