I do not look back at the old chapters with regret.
Even the ones where the ink was smudged and chaotic.
Every detour was a necessary calculation,
A rough draft required to understand the final design.
You remember the moments the narrative fractured.
I remember the strength it took to keep writing the book.
We are reading from the same volume,
But our eyes are fixed on entirely different lines.
